The facts - and the artifacts - of sport and competitive skating have been vigorously documented and enshrined, but that’s only half of the story. Skating as entertainment and art has been woefully neglected and as you’ve seen here I feel its history must be preserved. If you agree with me I’d enjoy hearing from you, including how you learned about this website.

Sadly, because of this neglect, historic theatrical skating material is being thrown away by people who don’t know its importance. If you feel that might ultimately be the fate of some items that you own, please contact me about them.
